Ford Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Friday, July 6th , 2085 Bill Ford, center fielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 5-2 victory today over the Las Vegas Hustle at Dodger Park today. "Not the outcome we wanted," Las Vegas manager Larry Robinson said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Bill Ford struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. In 2085 Ford has hit at a .343 clip with 110 hits, 14 home runs, 57 RBIs and has scored 55 times. |
