Lozano Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Friday, September 30th, 2050 The San Diego Padres stopped the Colorado Rockies today 8-3 and Antonio Lozano collected a base hit yet again. The San Diego second baseman finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Lozano told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Antonio Lozano flied out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Terry Bertoni in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Currently Lozano is batting .326 with 22 home runs and 123 RBIs. |
