Ridin' High: Hurley Hits for Cycle Monday, June 16th , 2098 It was a quite a day for Clint Hurley at Las Vegas Ballpark. He hit for the cycle, belting out every kind of hit there is -- a single, double, triple and home run. The Las Vegas second baseman accomplished the rare feat during his team's 14-5 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. "I never even thought about hitting for the cycle and what do you know, I did it," he told BNN reporters at the postgame press conference. "The cycle really doesn't matter to me, it's the win that's important." Hurley went 4-for-4 in the game with 6 runs batted in and 3 runs scored. Clint Hurley hit a two-run triple in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Rafael Estrada in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and walked in the 8th. In his stats this season, Hurley has posted a batting average of .301 with 59 hits in 196 at-bats, 10 home runs and 27 RBIs. He has also scored 29 runs, walked 18 times and compiled a .387 OBP.
