Socol Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Sunday, July 6th , 2104 Bobby Socol's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-2 in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. The 23-year-old center fielder has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Rangers. Bobby Socol grounded out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year, Socol has hit at a .436 pace and produced 12 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 11 runs. |
