Phillies, Diamondbacks Swap Players Thursday, June 21st , 2108 The rumor has been out there for a while now and today it was made official. The Philadelphia Phillies have sent 27-year old SS Fred Martin, a 2nd round draft pick, and a 3rd round draft pick to the Arizona Diamondbacks for 22-year old LHP Mike Middleton. Thus far in 2108, Martin is hitting .238 with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs, 31 runs scored and has compiled a .278 OBP. For the year, Middleton has compiled a 0-8 record with a 7.23 ERA. |
