Marquee Month for Minera, Top NL Rookie Tuesday, August 1st , 2079 Jose Minera is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest National League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In July the Pittsburgh hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .390 average with 30 hits, 6 home runs and 16 RBIs. So far in 2079 Minera is batting .336 with 14 home runs, 35 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 82 hits in 244 at-bats and a .385 OBP. |
