20 Games in a Row for Tinder Monday, July 17th , 2090 The Milwaukee Brewers may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 7-1 to the San Francisco Giants, but Mike Tinder continued to hit like a god. The left fielder collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "Tinder is playing great and is on fire right now," Brewers manager Art Matlock said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Tinder was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Mike Tinder singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This season Tinder has hit at a .269 clip and produced 21 runs batted in, 6 home runs and 23 runs. |
