League Punishes Pair for Fighting

Dave Stallings of New York and Chris Cisek of Houston were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Stallings will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Cisek was given 3 games. League officials announced their suspensions today.
In his stats this season, Stallings has posted a batting average of .192 with 15 hits in 78 at-bats, 5 home runs and 11 RBIs. He has also scored 15 runs, walked 9 times and compiled a .289 OBP.
Cisek has taken the mound for 31 relief appearances this season, nailing down 2 saves while notching a 9-2 record with a 2.72 ERA. The Houston reliever has limited opposing batters to a .236 batting average.
