Figueroa Named July's #1 Newcomer Monday, August 1st , 2072 Oscar Figueroa's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young New York first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .359 with 7 doubles, no triples and 5 home runs. Figueroa also scored 15 times and drove in 16 runs. In the 2072 season Figueroa is hitting .305 with 9 home runs. |
