Bad Behavior Costs Wilbanks and Wright
Thursday, June 2nd, 2067
Yesterday at Coca-Cola Field Ron Wilbanks and Bobby Wright got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game.

Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Wilbanks will have to sit out 3 while Wright would be given a 7-game suspension for their roles in the brawl.

This season in 57 games Wilbanks is batting .271 with 13 home runs, 37 RBIs and has scored 35 times.

Looking at his season stats, Wright has won 3 and lost 3, collecting 57 strikeouts and 18 walks in 56.2 innings with a 3.97 ERA.
