Bernabe of Washington Player of the Week Monday, June 9th, 2064 It was announced today that Washington first baseman Santiago Bernabe has been acclaimed by the National League as the Player of the Week for his outstanding play last week. Bernabe posted a .542 batting average as he collected 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 8 home runs and 14 RBIs. Thus far this year Bernabe is batting .294 with 26 home runs, 67 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
