Tigers, Reds Agree to Deal Thursday, December 8th, 2050 A trade was announced today at a press conference in Detroit. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Detroit Tigers general manager shook things up by acquiring a 1st round draft pick, a 2nd round draft pick, a 3rd round draft pick and a 5th round draft pick from the Cincinnati Reds for 27-year-old 2B Luis Diaz and 27-year-old RHP Casey Cannon. "We're a better team now," Tigers general manager Alex R said. "We've added several pieces to the puzzle." Looking at his all-time stats, Diaz has a career .256 average with 307 hits, 50 doubles, 8 triples, 9 home runs and 78 RBIs to date. He has scored 178 runs, walked 186 times and stolen 33 bases. |
