Kansas City Pitcher Gets May's Rookie Trophy Monday, June 1st, 2065 The American League announced the winner of the Rookie of the Month Award. It went to Jimmy Timmers of the Kansas City Royals for his outstanding work on the mound. For the month of May the 26-year-old Timmers recorded a 3-1 won-lost mark with a 3.71 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 26.2 innings. During this season he has made no relief appearances, earning a 4-3 record with no saves. In 49.1 innings Timmers has struck out 56 with a 5.66 ERA. |
