Quiroz on Fire: 5-for-6 for Los Angeles Friday, July 24th , 2111 Henry Quiroz said "it felt like taking batting practice" at U.S. Cellular Field, and it showed in the box score. The Los Angeles first baseman had a fantastic 5-for-6 day against the Chicago White Sox, leading his club to victory, 14-6. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Quiroz said later." Henry Quiroz singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Alfredo Cortez in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
