Benitez Joins Kings of Clout with #500 Thursday, August 30th , 2085 San Diego's outstanding first baseman Chris Benitez joined the 500 home run club today at Las Vegas Ballpark with a booming blast in the Padres win over the Hustle. They topped Las Vegas 13-1. On his milestone day Benitez had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 4 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. Tongue-in-cheek he told the press, "Don't tell me when I get close to the next milestone. Just tell me after I reach it. It will be easier to hit that way."
