20-Game Hitting Streak for Lombana Sunday, June 14th, 2065 Jose Lombana, second baseman for the Cleveland Indians, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 10-3 victory today over the St. Louis Cardinals at Progressive Field today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends."
