Keller Earns AL Rookie Honor Sunday, November 19th, 2056 It wasn't a stroke of good luck that got Texas's Joe Keller the 2056 American League Rookie of the Year Award, it was his skill on the field. The gifted second baseman performed well with a .324 batting average, while playing in 121 games and delivering 144 hits in 445 at-bats. His totals also included 17 home runs, 70 RBIs, 66 runs scored, 38 walks and a .379 OPB. Tony Solorzano of the Tampa Bay Rays finished second in voting, while Alex Moreno of the Houston Astros finished third. |
