Coon Bangs 3 HR Against Arizona Monday, July 30th , 2108 Fans are still buzzing after Las Vegas whipped the Arizona Diamondbacks by the score of 5-1 at Las Vegas Ballpark. Zack Coon smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the right fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Coon said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Coon said. "Three is just... wow." Zack Coon hit a solo-shot off Paul Cowles in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Paul Cowles in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Arturo Ventura in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. For the year, Coon has hit .210 with 33 home runs, 73 RBIs and scored 54 runs. |
