Setback for San Diego and Jeremy Kenealy Monday, August 6th , 2108 The San Diego Padres announced today that first baseman Jeremy Kenealy will not be returning as quickly as expected from injury. "There was a bit of a setback, but nothing to be concerned about," one team official told reporters. "Jeremy will probably miss another 3 weeks because of this, but everyone expects him to make a full recovery." In 85 games this season, Kenealy has compiled a .283 batting average with 95 hits and 16 home runs. He has also scored 50 times and knocked in 41 runs. |
