NL's Top Hitter Selected Friday, August 1st , 2110 The vote is in and Grant Goff, the 28-year-old first baseman for New York, is the winner. Today he was honored with the National League Batter of the Month award. In July, Goff wowed voters with a .347 average while posting 12 home runs, 25 RBIs, 19 runs scored and a .394 on-base percentage. Goff is hitting .269 for the season with 27 home runs, 68 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 97 hits in 361 at-bats and played in 96 games. |
