That's the case today, as the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention. This is the club's 8th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2101. In total, the Mets have missed the playoffs 129 times in their 148-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Mets have only made the playoffs once. New York last won the World Series in 1986. |
