Kansas City Won't Make Playoffs Monday, October 5th , 2111 A close finish won't make it any easier for the Kansas City Royals to end their season early. The club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention for the 2111 season. "There were some things broken and some things said that are not repeatable," Royals manager Connor Gould.
