Tampa Bay's Severs Will Miss Season Tuesday, September 23rd , 2110 The Tampa Bay Rays were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Tony Severs left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Severs has suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. Checking out his stats for the season, Severs has racked up 9 wins and 10 losses in 32 starts, posted a 4.42 ERA, and struck out 136 batters in 158.2 innings. |
