American League West Division Won: Oakland Crowned Thursday, October 2nd , 2092 The Oakland Athletics have steamrolled their way to their 35th American League West Division crown. With a current record of 93-60, Oakland can't be caught and have sewn up the division. The team's celebration was a bit subdued, as the division hadn't really been in any doubt for quite some time. But manager Jon Pearson still said it's a fantastic accomplishment that makes him "extremely proud" of his team. "Now we focus on winning a World Series," he said. "That's obviously the end goal." The club will be vying for its 13th championship. |
