Arizona Diamondbacks Mathematically Out of Playoffs Monday, September 15th , 2098 The Arizona Diamondbacks playoff hopes were already minuscule at best, but even those faint hopes have been dashed. The team was mathematically eliminated from the playoffs today. Arizona last appeared in the postseason in 2095. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 77 times in their 101-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Diamondbacks have only made the playoffs once. |
