Setback for Pittsburgh and Joey Noles Wednesday, September 17th , 2098 The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today that Joey Noles will miss an additional 8 weeks after the right fielder suffered a setback in his rehabilitation from a fractured thumb. While the setback is believed to be minor, the Pirates want Noles to take his time and fully recover before coming back. Joey Noles is expected to undergo surgery in Pittsburgh(Pennsylvania) tomorrow. For the year Noles has hit at a .246 clip with 57 RBIs, 21 home runs and 54 runs scored. |
