Arambula Bashes 3 HR for Baltimore Tuesday, August 17th, 2060 Fans are still buzzing after Baltimore whipped the Philadelphia Phillies by the score of 13-4 today at Citizens Bank Park. Lonzo Arambula smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 6 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Arambula said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Arambula said. "Three is just... wow." Lonzo Arambula flied out in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off J.R. Calhoun in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off J.R. Nicholson in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Ray Carpenter in the 8th and walked in the 9th. In 122 games this year Arambula has posted a .306 average and put up these numbers: 23 home runs, 76 RBIs and 66 runs scored. |
