Cincinnati Captures Wild Card Thursday, October 4th , 2108 The Cincinnati Reds may not go on to win a World Series, but the team celebrated like they had won a championship tonight after securing a wild card spot. "We were definitely feeling the pressure. To go so late into the season and not know whether you're going to make the playoffs or not, it's intense. That's why you're seeing such an excited reaction," said closer Corey Comer. "All our guys I think are just relieved that we made it after all that."
