Injury Sidelines Griff Hill for Season
Monday, September 22nd , 2098
The New York Yankees and their fans were rocked today by the news that star starting pitcher Griff Hill would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Hill was hurt in a recent game against the Los Angeles Angels while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. His doctors think that Hill will miss about 10 months.

Hill has fashioned a 5-15 mark for the season, 4.97 ERA and thrown 154 innings in 28 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .292 against him.
