Texas Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Thursday, October 9th , 2110 Looking at the bigger picture, Salvatore Ayala of the Texas Rangers said he's excited for what's to come in the years ahead for his squad. But in the present, he said, the club is quite disappointed with the realization today that they are now mathematically out of playoff contention for the 2110 season. Texas last appeared in the postseason in 2102. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 115 times in their 150-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Rangers have made the playoffs 3 times. |
