Toronto Sits Atop American League East Division Sunday, October 12th , 2110 Members of the Toronto Blue Jays proudly donned their American League East Division championship apparel tonight, after winning the division for the 24th time in franchise history. "We don't take an accomplishment like this for granted. There are some good teams in our division, so it means a lot to come out on top," said third baseman Marcos Iniguez. "We didn't know what sort of year it would take, but at 88-74, we're happy with the division title." The Blue Jays will be trying to bring the 9th Major League Baseball championship to Toronto. |
