Minnesota Devastated by Playoff Elimination Tuesday, October 6th , 2105 Fans of the Minnesota Twins will no doubt look back at a handful of games and wonder what could have been, if only a few things had gone differently. For now, the focus turns to next season, as the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Minnesota last appeared in the postseason in 2102. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 176 times in their 205-year history.
