Correa Crashes 3 HR Against Milwaukee
Monday, September 20th, 2060
Chicago Cubs first baseman Franklin Correa had a magnificent game against the Milwaukee Brewers today, rocketing three balls out of Wrigley Field to help the Cubs take the 13-10 victory.
"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."
For the game, Correa went 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Chicago manager Vin Calia said later. "Seems like Franklin found his home run stroke today."
Franklin Correa hit a solo-shot off Robby Benitez in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Josh Garrity in the 5th, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Sal Mercedes in the 8th.
This season Correa is hitting .283 with 48 home runs.
