Postseason Bid Ends for Los Angeles Saturday, October 4th , 2098 It won't be a season to remember for the Los Angeles Dodgers, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Dodgers were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2098 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Los Angeles reliever J.P. Vines. This is the club's 25th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2073. In total, the Dodgers have missed the playoffs 182 times in their 209-year history. Los Angeles last won the World Series in 2058. |
