San Diego's Shipley Out 1-2 Weeks Wednesday, October 29th , 2110 Brent Shipley of the San Diego Padres was injured in today's game against Chicago and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is an oblique strain, and he is expected to be out for up to 1-2 weeks. It happened while Shipley was colliding with a player at a base. "It hurt a lot, to be honest.
