Twins Move on to Division Series Tuesday, October 14th , 2098 Many baseball pundits expected a close series in the American League Wild Card. It turned out quite a bit different. The Minnesota Twins swept aside the Cleveland Guardians to advance to the Division Series, winning the final game by a 3-1 score at Target Field. The series MVP was left fielder Joe Looby, who hit .250 with a .250 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs. "We expected this series to go right down to the wire, so to sweep is a bit of a surprise," he said. "But we'll take it."
