Los Angeles-Washington Announce Deal Friday, November 14th , 2110 Newspapers in Los Angeles and Washington reported that the Dodgers have reached a deal sending 30-year old RHP John Cronin and 23-year old RHP David Merchan to the Nationals for 31-year old RHP Greg Hoppe, a 4th round draft pick, and a 5th round draft pick. Washington will retain a portion of Hoppe's remaining contract. Hoppe has a lifetime ERA of 4.63 with a record of 93 wins and 81 losses. He also has struck out 1298 batters in 1354 innings and allowed 1310 hits. |
