Chris Schoch Says Farewell to Baseball Wednesday, October 22nd , 2098 It's a somber day for Diamondbacks fans as Chris Schoch announced that he will retire at the end of the 2098 season. The Arizona starting pitcher attributed his retirement to his age and loss of skills. "I'm not the type of player I want to be anymore," he said. "It's harder go out there and be competitive. I'm not at the end of my rope yet, but I've seen guys hang around too long. I'm not going to be one of them." |
