Judson Slams 3 Deep for San Diego Tuesday, October 28th , 2098 Maxwell Judson added his name in the record books after an explosive home run spree against the Colorado Rockies. But despite joining the select list of sluggers to hit three home runs in a game, it didn't guarantee a victory. The San Diego Padres fell to the Rockies, 16-9. In his big day at Colorado Field, the San Diego first baseman went 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs and scored 4 times. "It was just one of those days," he told BNN sportswriters in the postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball. "You would think three homers would win most games. It was good to hit 'em, but a win would have really made my day." Maxwell Judson grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Doug Craig in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Doug Craig in the 4th, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Angel Cruz in the 8th. For the season Judson is hitting .234, batted in 76 runs with 24 home runs and 95 runs scored. |
