O'Connor Blisters Kansas City Saturday, September 25th, 2066 John O'Connor of the Toronto Blue Jays went on a hitting spree today against the Kansas City Royals pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Royals put a damper on his day and prevailed 12-10 over the Blue Jays. "It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later. John O'Connor singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
