Winstead Smashes 300th Homer Saturday, October 2nd, 2066 Kansas City's outstanding right fielder Philip Winstead joined the 300 home run club today at U.S. Cellular Field with a booming blast in the Royals win over the White Sox. They topped Chicago 14-1. On his milestone day Winstead had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Tongue-in-cheek he told the press, "Don't tell me when I get close to the next milestone. Just tell me after I reach it. It will be easier to hit that way." During his career Winstead has hit for a .289 average and totaled 1537 hits, 300 home runs and 832 RBIs.
