Best AL Reliever Named Sunday, November 23rd , 2098 Gary Kennedy came out of the bullpen and worked through tough situations all year, and for his performance he's been named the recipient of the American League Rolaids Relief Man Award for 2098. The 31-year-old out of Fisher, Illinois captured the award with 11 saves in 94 relief appearances, 194 strikeouts in 163 innings and a record of 13 wins and 4 losses to go with his 2.32 ERA. "I'm thankful, it's a great honor," he told Baseball News Network. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Tony Soto of the Seattle Mariners finished second in voting, while Eric Rendleman of the Boston Red Sox finished third.
