Reds Cruise to World Series with Sweep Friday, October 22nd, 2066 The Cincinnati Reds are on to the World Series after a convincing series win over the Colorado Rockies. Cincinnati wrapped up the series sweep with a 13-7 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Scott Koerth, who was named series MVP. For the series, Koerth hit .529 with a .579 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 8 runs. The Cincinnati Reds don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Oakland Athletics - Baltimore Orioles series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
