Injury Setback for Mariners Canty Thursday, October 6th , 2107 The Seattle Mariners will have to do without starting pitcher Jeremy Canty even longer than expected. Team doctors say that Canty's recovery from a strained oblique has not gone well and more time will be needed to treat it successfully. The Mariners trainer indicated it would be at least one week before they would consider activating Canty. Up to now Canty has recorded a record of 6-3. In 1 starts he has fanned 86 batters in 101.1 innings with a 2.75 ERA. |
