Seattle's Frank Gets AL Ben Celeste Rookie of the Year Award Monday, November 14th , 2107 A fine inaugural season has paid off handsomely for Todd Frank of the Seattle Mariners. The 23-year-old topped off his debut year with the 2107 American League Ben Celeste Rookie of the Year Award. The Mariners right fielder took the trophy by hitting .350 in 153 games and finished with 200 hits, 34 home runs, 103 RBIs and 114 runs scored. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Kenneth Cluett of the Los Angeles Angels finished second in voting, while Dave Van den Bussche of the Tampa Bay Rays finished third.
