Whitacre Gets Number 2000 Saturday, April 25th , 2082 It took quite a few years to do it, but Sean Whitacre finally did it. The Angels first baseman swatted hit #2000 this afternoon at Progressive Field, but still came up short in the victory column. The Cleveland Guardians came away with a 7-4 win over Los Angeles.
