Pittsburgh Pirates Ship Fitzpatrick to Los Angeles Thursday, December 6th, 2063 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Pittsburgh and Los Angeles have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 31-year-old RHP Cody Fitzpatrick to the Dodgers with 20-year-old minor league SS Marvin Suarez and a 2nd round draft pick joining the Pirates. Pittsburgh general manager Art Matlock would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. Fitzpatrick has 24 saves in his career with a 45-24 record and a 3.63 ERA. |
