New York, Tampa Bay Deal Made Thursday, December 6th, 2063 Today at a press conference the New York Yankees announced a trade has been completed with the Tampa Bay Rays. The Yankees have shipped 29-year-old RHP Alex Batista to the Rays for 24-year-old CF Wade Thorndyke, 25-year-old LHP Enrique Enriquez and a 1st round draft pick. Since coming into the league, Batista has a 105-43 mark and a 3.41 ERA. The 29-year-old hurler also has struck out 1506 batters in 1279 innings and permitted 1090 hits. The 25-year-old Enriquez has sat down 367 batters on strikes, walked 80 and put up a 3.52 ERA. His career won-lost record is 22-12. |
