St. Louis, Houston Deal Made Tuesday, March 18th , 2110 Reports have surfaced that St. Louis has agreed to send 21-year old 3B Giovani Cesaresco and 24-year old C David Musquiz to the Houston Astros in exchange for a 1st round draft pick, a 2nd round draft pick, and a 5th round draft pick. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team. During his 147-game career Musquiz has batted .278 and collected 148 hits, 8 home runs and 57 RBIs. |
