Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl

Scott Zito of Houston and Tony Aragon of Minnesota were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Zito will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Aragon was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today.

During the current season Zito is batting at a .260 clip with 6 home runs and 11 RBIs. He has played in 14 games and scored 7 times.

Currently Aragon has a record of 0-1 with 21 strikeouts and 3 walks in 24 innings and a 4.50 ERA.
